At 3.40am this morning Maude produced a lovely colt foal. The birth was textbook so aside from the considerable overcooking my mares have given their foals this season, we have had an awesome season. I can now sit back and relax a little until Spring. Not sure about a name yet, pretty sure he is going to be a grey boy so I am considering TF Liath (Liath is Celtic for grey). Watch this space for more photos and stories as he and the other foals continue to thrive and grow.
