Bleurgh weather = too lazy to ride

so today I lunged Brennan over a few poles/jumps. He's a lazy bugger it has to be said and I think I had more of a work out than he did! I am looking forward to seeing him do some gymnastics and grids to get him thinking about picking up his feet because, at the moment, he's not too sure he can be bothered!

Road tripping

Today I went and picked up a friend and we took a trip to Palmerston North. I was going there mainly to visit the Saddlery Warehouse store to pick up some special strong small holed haynets. Unfortunately they didn't have the nets I was after so that was pretty disappointing. I grabbed some halters that were on special and a couple of riding vests and shot through. We also visited Horsewyse and I was able to find a rubber bit with brass rings to put in Brennan's in hand bridle so I can finally send the brass snaffle I borrowed AGES ago off a friend, back to her!

I dropped Rachael off home but before leaving grabbed some shots of her delightful foal by Robbie, Luna. Here they are:
