Filly by Hamish for sale at weaning

Ella is a very pretty grey filly by TF Hamish and out of a nice, big, rangey mare by Light Spirits (Reilly's maternal grandsire). I am going to try and go and see her and get some more photos but, for now, these are the ones I have from her breeder (who is getting out of the breeding game). Born 1 Nov 2010. Lovely straight action & well handled. Avail on weaning. Should be a good all round ride. Foal growing well & I expect her to grow to appx. 15.3hh. Ella is $1000. Her dam is also available. Alii is a lovely big Light Spirits mare. $200.

Meg goes to the River

Late last year I took Brennan in hand for a bit of a play in the water at the river down the road. He thought it was great and, now that Meg is back in work, I thought she might like an introduction to the river. I was right and we both had a blast! Nick came with us so I had my own personal photographer which meant that we were able to capture lots of the fun on camera. He took SO many photos, it was really hard to choose the best ones so I am afraid there are HEAPS of photos to wade through today. I would like to get her to the beach again too but not sure Nick is all that keen to go so far and I don't think we are quite ready to go somewhere like that totally on our own. I am just going to have to find someone to bribe to come along with us!!

Meg now has her very own facebook page so please feel free to join in the fun there too - I am sure she would love some new friends.

We both got a little wet...

TF Rafferty

This weekend Raff went to his very first competition. Not as a competitor, just to have a look and a ride around. Sounds like he was a little star so I am very proud. I am hoping that there will be a training test for him to have a crack at next time. He's never been shown in hand so this is his first outing full stop and his first trip on the truck. Go Raff! Here he is, being very ably ridden by Jo Hansen.

Meg is just deliciousness!

I have finally got off my butt and brought Meg in to start work again. It's almost as if she has had no time off but the break has done her no harm and she has grown and filled out even more. She has probably filled out a little too much tho, hehe! Hopefully she will drop some of the extra kilos with some good old fashioned hard work. It should do us BOTH some good!

Nick was sweet and took some photos of us yesterday and today so I have picked out a handful of my favourites to share with everyone today. Please excuse my appalling position in most of the photos. I am well due for lessons, many, many lessons!
