Last week we welcomed Kohatu Solar Flare to the Stud. 'Flash' is being bred to Crossiebeg Brennan for her new owner Sarah and, once safely in foal, will be winging her way to Western Australia and Marglyn Connemara Sporthorse Stud, her new home and the home, we hope, of Brennan's first offshore foal. Flash very obliging arrived in season and has been successfully covered so now we wait, with finger's crossed for a scan (should be first week of October).
In other news, I have started trying to compile photos of Hamish's progeny both at liberty and under saddle. It's a fairly laborious process and one I have put off for, well, years! I encourage any of you who have progeny to send me photos and I am more than happy to come and take photos if you are out and about not too far from here so please do let me know.
