Amy and Maxi

Amy had a lesson yesterday with my lovely friend and neighbour Karen. She had lost a little confidence since her fall a few weeks back and I have been struggling with helping her get it back so thought an outside influence might be a good idea - it was! Amy had a lovely ride yesterday, playing 'Simon Says' and just working on enjoying being on her pony and playing games. Maxi is such a star and I swear he really does love her - He takes such great care of her and is so very careful. He didn't bat an eyelid when she was waving her arms around (windmill arms) or laying back over his rump. Such a good boy.

Today she was as keen as mustard to ride again and so we just went out and had some fun. I hope her love of riding and horses develops as she does but, at the end of the day, I just want her to have a fun and happy childhood so, if that involves ponies, great! If not, so be it.
